It has happened, the moment and day you have feared, you have a hit a roadblock in your career. As you struggle to discover how to amend your current status and build your client base, keep in mind that sometimes your mind just needs a refresher in priorities. 

Real Estate can be extremely challenging and may take a lot of effort and energy that at times can be discouraging. Just remember that this happens in every career, especially when sales are involved. There will be moments in the market that are very frustrating and then there are those incredible moments where you wouldn't trade any of it. Focus on the positive, take a deep breath, and develop an action plan. It is so important to remember the things that lead you into this career, and as you begin prioritizing the steps in your action plan, these things will be the foundation. 

I am a bit of a nerd and I like to write things out, make checklists, and see the results. In my opinion this is the best place to begin. Take some time to really think about where you want to be in your career and the accomplishments you plan to make as an individual during this time. Seeing these things written down will empower you to start making those small decisions towards the ultimate goal. Place this list in front of you every day, and hopefully by seeing it, you will push to achieve it. Next, talk to a mentor or veteran in the business, someone whom you trust entirely. Sometimes we all need to voice our concerns, our failures, and our fears in order to start the process of overcoming them. Voicing things out loud can release many burdens, but will also offer you the perspective you need to get back in the game. Also, we have an unlimited amount of resources to help better your business, utilize these. Whether it is online, taking a few extra courses, or through conversations with other agents, these resources are there for a reason and will help you achieve your goals. People are fickle, the market will have its ups and downs, and you will have moments where your sanity might be in question. Yet, ultimately, you have the power to impact a life and build a solid relationship with your clients just by attending to their dreams. That is truly a great reward within itself. Focus on the people, and soon your business will catch up, that is a guarantee.
