I am a bit of a nerd and I like to write things out, make checklists, and see the results. In my opinion this is the best place to begin. Take some time to really think about where you want to be in your career and the accomplishments you plan to make as an individual during this time. Seeing these things written down will empower you to start making those small decisions towards the ultimate goal. Place this list in front of you every day, and hopefully by seeing it, you will push to achieve it. Next, talk to a mentor or veteran in the business, someone whom you trust entirely. Sometimes we all need to voice our concerns, our failures, and our fears in order to start the process of overcoming them. Voicing things out loud can release many burdens, but will also offer you the perspective you need to get back in the game.
